No Cigar formed in a tiny garage over four years ago. All the while, the band has passionately plugged away at refining their sound and honing their skills as artists and performers. No Cigar started out strong by self-producing a handful of five to six song EP's & some other various single tracks, as well as logging tens of thousands of miles playing shows around the US. Yet, after four plus years, the band hasn’t released a proper full-length album. Palm Mutes & Pick Slides will be No Cigar’s premiere full-length LP.

I wrote this walking through downtown Boston Massachusetts. It’s a bitter-sweet story about falling in love with the city and having to leave it all behind. -Colton
lyrics
Top of the hub, the greatest view of Boston
The skyline takes away, all my doubts and more
I’ve seen the coastline, a walk through back bay
Up to Tremont & back down to Boylston
The long walks, cab rides alone
Is where I truly felt at home
It’s where I found my peace of mind
We threw our bags into the ocean
Watched the tide drift my dreams
Into my feet I found a way
To coincide my heart and head
I’ve seen the coastline, a walk through back bay
Up to Tremont & back down to Boylston
The long walks, cab rides alone
Is where I truly felt at home
It’s where I found my peace of mind
How could I ever find
Another way to find myself
I’ve been lost and I can tell
I’ve seen the darkest sides
Of this small town and these big lies
I’ve seen the coastline, a walk through back bay
Up to Tremont & back down to Boylston
The long walks, cab rides alone
Is where I truly felt at home
It’s where I found my peace of mind

Hailing from Montana, No Cigar is a band that started from the frustration and inspiration of each member’s musical and life
experiences. Seeded by 3 years of touring and recording with Colorado-based band the Photo Atlas, former drummer Nick Miles has now abandoned his place behind the drum kit to challenge himself as front-man on this new project. www.nocigarmusic.com @nocigarus #nocigarus...more
