No Cigar formed in a tiny garage over four years ago. All the while, the band has passionately plugged away at refining their sound and honing their skills as artists and performers. No Cigar started out strong by self-producing a handful of five to six song EP's & some other various single tracks, as well as logging tens of thousands of miles playing shows around the US. Yet, after four plus years, the band hasn’t released a proper full-length album. Palm Mutes & Pick Slides will be No Cigar’s premiere full-length LP.

A Face You Know, I-90 West, Lookout Pass & Back Bay written by Colton Gabel.

Chris's Song, Over It, Turn Back, Crossroads & We Wouldn't Listen written by Nick Miles.

No Future & Way Too Fast written by Chris Reeves.

I Hate Myself For Hating That I Hate To Say I Hate You written by Zach Reiter.

about

A track about the desperation at the end of a relationship. When no matter what happens, you know it's the end. -Chris

lyrics

Lately I’ve been feeling weighed down
And it seems like you don’t want to listen
I’ve been looking for a way out
But it seems like you don’t even care

When I think of all the times I spent with you
Wait a minute, is it true
Or is it a way to feel alive
For me and you

Well I know you have feelings
So I will find a middle ground and work it out
Is that a way to feel alive for me and you

I know we suffer our feelings are so involved
Time to stick it out this much is true
Is that a way to feel alive for me and you

You know how I get when feelings are involved

Try to stop playing these crazy games with my heart and my life when did this get so involved in shit
This storm is raging out of control
We have no shelter at all no place to call our home
No future no place to call our home x2 or 3

about

No Cigar Billings, Montana

Hailing from Montana, No Cigar is a band that started from the frustration and inspiration of each member’s musical and life experiences. Seeded by 3 years of touring and recording with Colorado-based band the Photo Atlas, former drummer Nick Miles has now abandoned his place behind the drum kit to challenge himself as front-man on this new project.
